Overview

Mr. Vilá-Sellés joined Delgado & Fernández, LLC in 2013.  His main areas of practice mortgage and notarial law issues, as well as estates and real estate financing and transactions.

Mr. Vilá-Sellés started his legal practice as an attorney with the Department of Justice of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  He was appointed by the Puerto Rico Supreme Court Board of Bar Examiners to prepare questions and review examinations in the area of Real Estate and Mortgage Law for the Puerto Rico Bar exam.

For over thirty (30) years he was a Shareholder and Head of the Corporate Law Division, Real Estate Section at Fiddler, González & Rodríguez, P.S.C., which was for many decades one of Puerto Rico’s largest and most successful law firms.  Mr. Vilá-Sellés is a founding member of the Notary Public Association of Puerto Rico and is generally recognized as an expert in Puerto Rico Mortgage and Notarial Law.

Mr. Vilá-Sellés is also a Notary Public.
