Overview

Mr. Laffitte joined the Litigation Department at Delgado & Fernández, LLC in 2002 where he has an active general civil litigation practice, including insurance defense and commercial litigation.

Previously, Mr. Laffitte worked as Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department of Puerto Rico, in charge of the following areas: General Litigation Division; Federal Litigation Division; Tax Division; Civil Forfeitures Division; and Eminent Domain Litigation.  Mr. Laffitte has more than 30 years of trial experience in the local and federal courts as he has served as lead counsel in dozens of trials in both forums.

Mr. Laffitte is also a Notary Public.
